Born in Denver and then raised under the vast prairie skies on a farm outside the city, Doc experienced the rhythms of the land firsthand, developing a deep appreciation for hard work, resiliency, and a well told story.

 

This foundation prepared him for the challenges that lay ahead. With his head bent in a stubborn determination for adventure, he enlisted as a U.S. Navy Corpsman.

Following his training, Doc served two years as an EMT at the 29 Palms ER, honing his skills in a demanding environment. He then deployed to Afghanistan with the Marine Corps, where he faced the realities of combat.

While the battlefield suited his temperament, the birth of his first son brought a profound shift in perspective. He transitioned to civilian life, dedicating himself to fatherhood and navigating the complexities of personal and professional reinvention.

Driven by a love for storytelling, Doc took Uncle Sam up on his offer of college where he studied Creative Writing and Journalism at the University of Colorado Denver. During this time he co-founded Mountain Man Medical, an experience that profoundly shaped his philosophies on marketing, business, and the importance of community.

Today, Doc is passionate about empowering others on their journeys of personal and professional growth. He believes in the power of mentorship and the strength of a supportive community.
